World Sleep Day, March 15, 2024, is a day when delegates around the world promote the importance of sleep.
This was my first year of being a World Sleep Day delegate, giving me the opportunity to share the Living with narcolepsy in Australia Facebook Support Group members responses to this years theme.
‘Sleep Equity for Global Health‘
The videos are to raise awareness of the importance of healthy sleep, and how narcolepsy impacts the ability to get enough healthy, restorative sleep every night.
The questions are:
1. How does your narcolepsy affect your sleep?
2. Are you satisfied with the level of awareness and support available for narcolepsy within your community?
3. Do you believe that there should be more emphasis on addressing sleep equity for individuals living with narcolepsy?
4. Have you encountered barriers in accessing appropriate healthcare and treatment for your narcolepsy?
5. How optimistic are you about the future improvement of sleep equity for people with narcolepsy worldwide?
All of the videos are available to watch via my YouTube channel links below. When watching, please consider leaving a supportive comment and a thumbs up on the videos.
